Oh, this story brought all the emotions. I am not going to talk about this book long about this book. this was just a story we had to read in class and I have already written so much on this story I don’t really feel the need to talk too much about it.
I think the story was a good story. I am not a big fan of the classics they kind of just bore me but I thought this one was pretty good. I thought it was pretty basic compared to the stories I like but compared to older novels like this one I found it more entertaining than some.
Knowles writing was very detailed and very straight to the point. I was never really confused about what was going on. I thought it was interesting that he decided to tell this story 15 years later as an older and more mature Gene.
Leper and Finny are my favorite characters in the story. I feel as though I can relate to Finny and Leper. Like Leper I am kind of a shut in when I am around certain people or people I don’t know. But I am like Finny’s outgoingness when I am with my friends. I am usually the loud crazy one in my friend group.
A Separate Peace was a good book. I probably would never have read it if I hadn’t had to for class. I do think it was good but certainly wasn’t my favorite. Thanks for read!
