November Wrap Up and October TBR

I did it. I have finally finished my TBR list for a month. I read four books this month which were:

I liked all of these books. You can see why in my review about them.

What I want to read next month are two books:

  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
  • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas

I have the series and I’m excited to read the books.

I wanted to include my Book Buy of the Month in this too Becuase I forgot to do it for the month of November. My boyfriend got me the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them original screenplay. I didn’t technically buy this but I got this book in November so I’m counting it.

Published by Hyperion

Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

Pages: 444

“Ambitious New York City teenager Craig Gilner is determined to succeed at life – which means getting into the right high school to get into the right job. But once Craig aces his way into Manhattan’s Executive Pre-Professional High School, the pressure becomes unbearable. He stops eating and sleeping until, one night, he nearly kills himself.

Craig’s suicidal episode gets him checked into a mental hospital, where his new neighbors include a transsexual sex addict, a girl who has scarred her own face with scissors, and the self-elected President Armelio. There, Craig is finally able to confront the sources of his anxiety.

Ned Vizzini, who himself spent time in a psychiatric hospital, has created a remarkably moving tale about the sometimes unexpected road to happiness.” –Goodreads

October Wrap-Up & September TBR

Hey. So it looks like I only finished two books this month. Oops, I did it again…

tumblr_mheqkagopf1qihp55o1_250

I am reading the last two books and I would have finished my goal if I had not taken so long on the Great Gatsby. I thought maybe I could finish the books by today a few days after the October but it didn’t work out so here I am posting another wrap-up of shame.

Books I read in October:

I am very ashamed but I will try harder this month. I will be finishing two books soon so hopefully that puts me in good standing with my reading.

Book to be read in November:

  • Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
  • Shadows of Doon by Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon
  • A Separate Peace by John Knowles
  • Its Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini

I am already reading the first three book. A Separate Peace is a book we are reading for class so it will take me longer and I don’t know if we are scheduled to finish  it before the month ends. I will hope to actually finish and maybe read another book. I hope you all like this post. Thank for reading!

So when Duncan shows up and informs Kenna that Doon needs her, she doesn’t need to think twice. But even if Kenna can save the enchanted kingdom, her happily ever after may still be in peril.” –Goodreads.

“This exemplary novel of the Jazz Age has been acclaimed by generations of readers. The story of the fabulously wealthy Jay Gatsby and his love for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan, of lavish parties on Long Island at a time when The New York Times noted “gin was the national drink and sex the national obsession,” it is an exquisitely crafted tale of America in the 1920s.” –Goodreads
